The Raptor is designed to be an off-road capable truck, and it accomplishes that very well. While it’s meant to bash in the dirt, there are still some improvements that can be made on the truck. Off-road or on, there are hazards and obstacles aplenty. Your Raptor comes from the factory with some protection in the form of a front skid plate, but the engine and transmission are left entirely exposed. Whether you are pounding the pavement or slinging dirt, you never know what could happen. Protect your Raptor’s transmission from damage with the Borne Off-Road Transmission Skid Plate.
Designed to be tough as nails, the Borne Off-Road Transmission Skid Plate is constructed from 5/32-inch plate steel and is ready to take whatever abuse you can to throw at it. Additional mounting points have been added to provide superior strength and those mounting points are all recessed to provide a smooth bottom surface. This eliminates the potential to shear off or get hardware caught on obstacles. All corners and edges are bent at 80-degrees and reinforced to provide even greater strength. Reaching all the way across to both frame rails, it also protects the catalytic converters from theft. To ensure a long-lasting and durable finish, they are first electroplated via electro-galvanization and then powdercoated black. Designed to be direct-fit and including all hardware, install should take less than an hour with basic hand tools.

All in-stock orders are processed and shipped within 1 business day (excluding weekends and holidays).
Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days, depending on the destination. We ship from multiple warehouses across the United States, which allows us to deliver orders as quickly as possible.

Shipping Carriers
Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx, depending on the size and weight of the item.
Some large or oversized items may be shipped via SAIA or other freight carriers.
Carrier selection is determined automatically at the time of shipment.
Tracking Information
Once your order has shipped, a tracking number will be emailed to the email address provided at checkout.
Tracking information usually becomes active within 1 business day after shipment, depending on the carrier.
Where Is My Order?
When tracking information is provided, this means your order has been processed and shipped.
Carriers such as UPS and FedEx provide point-in-time tracking, meaning updates occur as the package is scanned during transit.
Most orders arrive within 2–5 business days. If your order does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.
Delivered Packages & Theft
Once an order is marked as Delivered by the carrier to the address provided at checkout, the order is considered successfully fulfilled.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery, including cases of mail theft.
If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you did not receive the package, we recommend:

Contacting the carrier to file a missing or stolen package claim

Filing a police report for mail theft (if applicable)
If the carrier provides written confirmation of delivery error, please contact us and we will review the case.
Signature Requirement
Signature confirmation is not required by default for orders under $200.
If you would like to add signature confirmation to your shipment, please contact us before placing your order. Additional fees may apply.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout.
We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
Cancellations
Order cancellations are free of charge as long as the order has not yet shipped.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
