Axxess AXTO-VW1 is a radio interface harness designed to simplify the installation of an aftermarket car stereo in select Volkswagen vehicles from 2002 to 2017. It offers several features to make the process easier and ensure compatibility between your new stereo and the factory wiring. The AXTO-VW1 supplies constant 12-volt power (typically at 10 amps) to your new aftermarket stereo, ensuring it has power even when the car is not running (important for features like memory retention). This feature allows your aftermarket stereo to receive low-level power for a short time after turning off the vehicle's ignition, enabling features like clock or preset memory to retain their settings. The AXTO-VW1 can be used with both factory-amplified and non-amplified sound systems in Volkswagen vehicles within the compatible model years (2002-2017). It provides outputs for parking brake, reverse gear, and vehicle speed sensor (VSS) in some applications. These outputs can be useful for certain aftermarket stereos with navigation features, such as automatic muting or switching to the backup camera image. Delivered Packages & Theft
