This leads to complaints of slipping or no reverse, reduced or no coast braking in manual 2nd or 1st gear as well as burned up overdrive direct clutch plates. The TransGo overdrive direct clutch high-temp spring is an improved design that resists spring fade. This top-quality spring helps prevent slippage as well as direct clutch plate failure. This is a direct replacement for OEM # 4461027.
