Carrying extended payloads is easier than ever before - with the Hitch Hand truck bed extender from Lund. Constructed of heavy-duty steel for the most demanding jobs, the Hitch Hand acts as a rugged, multi-use extension of a truck's bed, providing extra support for long loads as well as a handy, on-the-job workspace. A patented steel wall support bar provides 7" of added ground clearance and acts like a spring, flexing with the vehicles suspension. Plus, the Hitch Hand features side wings that adjust from 27" to 49" to accommodate wide cargo like full sheets of plywood and drywall. The Hitch Hand delivers a generous 750-pound distributed load capacity. The side supports are designed to fold down to create a portable sawhorse or worktable. The Hitch Hand fits in standard 2" receiver hitches and comes complete with D.O.T. approved red/white reflective tape and safety flag.

Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days, depending on the destination. We ship from multiple warehouses across the United States, which allows us to deliver orders as quickly as possible.

Shipping Carriers
Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx, depending on the size and weight of the item.
Some large or oversized items may be shipped via SAIA or other freight carriers.
Carrier selection is determined automatically at the time of shipment.
Tracking Information
Once your order has shipped, a tracking number will be emailed to the email address provided at checkout.
Tracking information usually becomes active within 1 business day after shipment, depending on the carrier.
Where Is My Order?
When tracking information is provided, this means your order has been processed and shipped.
Carriers such as UPS and FedEx provide point-in-time tracking, meaning updates occur as the package is scanned during transit.
Most orders arrive within 2–5 business days. If your order does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.
Delivered Packages & Theft
Once an order is marked as Delivered by the carrier to the address provided at checkout, the order is considered successfully fulfilled.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery, including cases of mail theft.
If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you did not receive the package, we recommend:

Contacting the carrier to file a missing or stolen package claim

Filing a police report for mail theft (if applicable)
If the carrier provides written confirmation of delivery error, please contact us and we will review the case.
Signature Requirement
Signature confirmation is not required by default for orders under $200.

Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout.
We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
Cancellations
Order cancellations are free of charge as long as the order has not yet shipped.
